Chris Carter is a photographer, editor, and visual artist based in Texas. His work utilizes psychological themes of fear, duplicity, vanity, and their correlation with emotional and physical extremes.
Focusing primarily on the portraiture of human subjects, harsh shadows contrast with garish colors to portray the rollercoaster of human emotion.
His works have been featured in Texas Photo Society’s New Visions 2024, Artovation 2024, and the Tarleton State University Juried Student Competition 2023-2025.
